Starting from scratch

I've been thinking about the music business all my life.

I've played music, written music, worked at music, wondered about music since I was a little boy.

My first musical memory is hearing and watching a man play a harmonica in the middle of a family gathering. I don't remember what he was playing, or who he was. But, I do remember this.

He mesmerized that gathering and mesmerized me and I thought, I want to be able to do that. I want to be able to feel that emotion and communicate that and be in the center of that. I want to be that man.
